Heather Symons

Heather commenced her role as Pastoral Assistant in March 2025, working alongside the Minister to support the ongoing pastoral work in the Basingstoke area. This includes visiting the housebound and those in hospital and care homes. She also attends small church-based gatherings and is working to maintain and extend existing links with MHA (Live Later Life Well) .

Having completed the training, she is an Anna Chaplain; a focus of ministry to older people.

Heather worships at Old Basing where she is a steward, Church Council Secretary and one of the Pastoral links for the congregation. She is married to Paul and has two children: Maria and James.
