The Revd Michaela Youngson, the Assistant Secretary of the Methodist Conference, has appeared on the local radio network. Against the backdrop of a divided world, she talks about her hopes and fears for the new year.

None of us, individually, are responsible for world peace but each of us can make just that little bit of difference by being compassionate and kind in our families, in our communities and hold each other gently and with affection and remind people that there is care in the world.
